Franciscan University of Steubenville Detachment

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary University Program (AUP) is designed to offer college students the opportunity to participate in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and thereby experience and augment the missions of the United States Coast Guard.  AUP is the Auxiliary's official program for integration with higher-level educational institutions. Academically minded students with a sincere interest in service gain leadership and Coast Guard experience.

Students work alongside the Coast Guard’s active military and civilian personnel in areas as diverse as business operations, information technology, GIS, public policy, environmental response, and maritime strategy.
